Support Molly Thornhill's Road to Recovery

On October 13th, 9-year old Molly and her dad were involved in a head on collision in Winnfield, LA. Molly was airlifted to Women's and Children's Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana where it was discovered she had internal bleeding and a fractured spine.  Molly underwent emergency surgery on October 17th to repair her intestines. A few weeks post surgery, a small leak was identified in her intestines. Fortunately, thanks to many prayers; Molly's fighting spirit; the constant support of her loving family; and the wonderfully, caring and dedicated staff at Women’s and Children’s Hospital; Molly was able to heal and be stable enough to transfer to Tulane's Hospital in New Orleans, LA where she would then undergo back surgery.  Molly underwent back surgery on November 21st, and after six weeks in a hospital bed and less than 24 hours after her spine was repaired, her family is thrilled to share she was able to take a few steps down the hall yesterday! 

As you can imagine, five weeks in the PICU and multiple surgeries have put a burden on Molly's family. Molly has fought bravely through all of this, and neither her mom or dad have left her side through the entire ordeal. With the holidays here, please provide any support you can offer.
