Molly, a retired nurse and cancer survivor, has spent her life caring for others. Now in her 70s, she is once again in the role of caregiver—but this time, it’s for her own daughter, Michele.

Michele suffered a devastating stroke and kidney failure that left her left side paralyzed, caused brain damage and a 65% loss of her vision. Since then, she has been in and out of hospice and rehabilitation facilities, fighting through unimaginable challenges.

At the same time, Molly has stepped in to care full-time for her 7-year-old granddaughter, Sarah—providing her with love, stability, and comfort during an incredibly confusing and heartbreaking time.

Molly is carrying more than anyone should have to. She is navigating her daughter’s complex medical needs, the emotional weight of watching her child suffer, and the responsibility of raising a young child—all while being exhausted physically, emotionally, and financially.

Despite her strength and resilience, Molly has now exhausted her personal savings trying to keep everything afloat.
