Hi, my name is Molly. I normally don’t do things like this because I feel too prideful to ask for help, but putting pride aside, I am turning to GoFundMe to ask for help.

During the last storm we had on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, a tree on the side of my house broke and fell on the roof, causing damage not only to the roof itself but also to our fireplace pipe, causing it to bend and break apart in some places. Living in the mountains, our fireplace is our only source of heat in the winter. On top of that, my fiancé’s truck's engine needs to be rebuilt as that is his means for the work he does. Like the old saying goes, “when it rains, it pours.”

I’m asking for $7,000 to help with whatever expenses that will be going to fixing the roof, replacing the stove pipe, and fixing my fiancé’s truck. Any amount helps, and believe me, this is something that I normally would never do, but I don’t know where else to turn.
