Hi everyone, My name is SandraDee Laury.

On January 11, 2025, my son Devin unexpectedly passed away. In his passing, he left behind a beautiful American Bull Dog mix named Mokey. Mokey is a wonderful dog. She gives the best kisses and the best snuggles.

When Devin passed away, a friend of his said she would take her. So off she went to Oregon to be with what we thought was her furever home. Sadly, it was not. She turned out not to be a good fit for her family. So off she went to another family. She was not a good fit for them either. On to the next home and once again, not a god fit.

The problem we are coming upon is that no one was able or willing to give Mokey the time needed to heal. She not only lost her “sister” dog, Jiÿāh, the October before her dad’s passing but she also lost her dad and the only home she has ever known all within a matter of months. Imagine if that happened to you. All she has left of her previous life is a Carhartt I had bought her because she doesn't like the cold.

Mokey is currently with a friend that is fostering her until we found her REAL FUREVER HOME and guess what?

WE FOUND IT!!!!

Mokey is going to live with a friend of my son. The problem is he lives in LaFayette, Louisiana.

We have to find a way to get her there. We have tried asking rescues for help and we have tried asking people who are traveling if she could hitch a ride and we keep hitting a dead end.

Thats where you come in. This is my last resort. I only have so much money so I am asking for help. We need to come up with the Money to transport her.
