Hi, I'm Vivian. Two years ago, my sweet Shiba Inu Moka lost her left eye to glaucoma. Since then, we've been doing rigorous treatment and monitoring to make sure her other eye stayed healthy and that she had the best quality of life possible. Unfortunately, this past Thursday the pressure in her eye spiked. After being rushed to an emergency vet, intensive intervention has failed and we cannot maintain the pressures using medicine, which means she needs another enucleation. With inclement weather coming in, and her being in severe discomfort, I am seeking to raise some funds to offset her hospital stay and surgery costs.
