Support Moiraine's Battle for Health and Hope

Hello friends and family! My name is Jonathan Drake and I'm starting this page for our baby girl, Moiraine Finley. Moiraine was born at 38 weeks on August 8th, weighing 5lbs and 3oz. She is beautiful and came out kicking and fighting. Our family was happy and complete. We brought her home where we can love and cherish her but on her 10th day of life, things were turned upside down for our family.

She was sleeping more than normal and we decided to wake her up to feed her. She didn't want to feed. She cried a contorted cry and started having trouble breathing. She had a wheezy whine and started to look blue. All her limbs went limp and had no strength to them. We rushed her to the hospital where they were unequipped to care for such a small baby.

The neonatal air vac team came to assist and transferred us to Children's Hospital in Phoenix. They said she is very sick with a virus and it's attacking her entire body. Her heart is functioning poorly and her lungs cannot handle the amount of stress her little body is under.

They intubated her to help assist with her breathing and she is on so many medicines to help her heart perform as best as possible. She is unstable and unfortunately we don't know what the outcome for our family will be.

We are asking for help to keep us afloat during these troubling times. Medical and living expenses are racking up and we are stressed beyond our max. We want our little girl to get better and come home. We want to be able to hold our little girl again and see her beautiful eyes look back at us.

If you can help in any way, even just sharing this, we would be forever grateful. We don't know what will happen and every moment is terrifying knowing we may not have her for much longer. We are hopeful though. She is a strong little girl and belongs on this planet for so much longer. Our family appreciates all the help we can get. We would love for any and all prayers for Moiraine.
