Hi, my name is Alicia Torres and I am raising funds for my Palestinian friend, Mohammed Essam. Here is his story:

“Hello guys, I am Mohammed from Gaza, I am 22 years old. My full name is Mohammed Essam. I live in the southern Gaza Strip, east of Khan Yunis. I live with my wife, my mother, my father, and I have 6 brothers. 3 of them are children under the age of 18. My wife, my family, and I live in tents after we lost our homes and were affected by displacement. Today we are living the most difficult days of our lives as we find it difficult to provide food and potable water due to the closure of the crossings and the rise in prices. Today the price of a 25 kg bag of flour has risen to $550, while in the past its price was only $5. The prices of vegetables are very high, as the price of a kilo of tomatoes is $15, eggplant $25, cucumber $20, potatoes $40, and we find everything here with difficulty. I hope you stand by me.
