My name is Brian, a.k.a. Moe. I have recently fallen on some extremely hard times as my store, where I have worked for the last 21 years of my life, was suddenly shut down just before Christmas of 2025. I enjoyed serving the people of West Saint Paul, Mendota Heights, and the West Side since 2005 when I started as a bagger carrying out groceries. I made my way up to night supervisor/frozen food manager. Throughout my time there, I enjoyed chatting with my regulars and always made sure they had what they needed. If we didn't have it, I tried to get what they needed by the next time they came in.
I have recently come into some hard times and I need some financial support. I am behind on all my bills after losing my job. I feel like I have lost a part of myself because I really enjoyed serving the customers. I even had customers call me 'the mayor' as my nickname and also had customers refer to me as the mascot of the store.
I am hoping to raise enough money to keep my house, but time is running out. I am facing foreclosure because of the way they just closed my store and didn't pay me at the end of my time there. I have since taken a position with them at one of their other stores but still haven't gotten my last 4 paychecks from them. So, I am starting this GoFundMe to raise enough money to be able to get caught up on my bills.
This is the most stressful time I have had to deal with over these last 4 and a half months. The clock is running out. I am asking my community that I loved serving for the last 21 years for help in my time of need. It has been my pleasure serving the people of this community. I was born and raised here and wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world. The reason I am ineed of this money is my bosses have been writting us payroll checks that are bouncing i have had 3 totally over 4300 bucks this is why I am in dire need at this time....
Thank you, Moe
