My name is Teigan Catlin and years ago I begged my parents to let me get a puppy. It took months and months of whining and begging but they finally said yes and I was able to take home the single best thing that's ever happened to me. Mocha. 2 years ago she was diagnosed with Mega Esophagus and Myasthenia Gravis. The vets told us all odds were against us and we shouldn't give her a chance but we did. She beat those odds and went into remission for a year. A few weeks ago she got sick. After spending a weekend and several days at the emergency vet we were told that Mocha’s MG and ME are back amongst other things. She needs to jump through a LOT of hurdles but she is so strong. She is relying on meds but she is doing so so good! She is enjoying life and all it has to offer, but meds, special food, and vet visits are adding up and fast. Any cent would truly help us help her. Ive always struggled with asking for help and especially asking for money and I would not be posting this publicly if it wasn't the one thing that I feel I can do to help her. If any one has even a dollar to spare that’s a dollar more that we can put towards our girl. Mocha is the one reason I am standing upright today. She has gotten me through every single low in life and has always been by my side. She has helped and protected me since the second she learned to walk. Now it’s my turn to help and protect her.
