Hi, my name is Valerie Acuña and i’m the mom of Mocha. She’s 11 years old and has been with me her whole life. She means the world to me. When I got home today I realized she was just standing by the door and was shaking and when I looked at her I noticed her right eye was in really bad shape. After taking her to the ER and then the ophthalmologist they confirmed that she suffered a really bad trauma in her eye. We’re not sure how exactly it happened but she hit her right eye really hard and has some bruising on her right part of the head. Unfortunately her retina detached so she won’t be able to see from that eye ever again. Right now she’s on medications. We started this donation to help with the costs as the ER and ophthalmologist bills get very expensive and unfortunately this is the amount that is out of my budget at this time. Hola, mi nombre es Valerie Acuña y soy la mama de Mocha. Ella tiene 11 años y ha estado conmigo toda su vida. Ella lo es todo para mi. Esta mañana cuando llegue a la casa ella estaba parada al lado de la puerta y estaba temblando, cuando la revise me di cuenta que su ojo estaba rojo y realmente mal. Despues de llevarla a emergencias y que la revisara un oftalmologo confirmaron que era causa de un trauma en su ojo. No estamos seguros cómo exactamente paso pero ella se golpeo su ojo derecho muy fuerte causándole inflamación y sangrado. Desafortunadamente su retina se desprendió y no va poder tener visión por ese ojo de nuevo. En este momento ella esta con medicamentos y bajo observación. Empezamos esta donación para ayudarnos con el costo de la clínica de emergencia y el oftalmólogo ya que son facturas realmente costosas, esta cantidad se me sale de las manos en este momento.
