M&M Rescue, a small, volunteer-run animal rescue located in Lubbock, Texas, is in the process of closing its operations after years of dedicated service. While they prepare their final rescues for forever homes, they are needing funding to ensure each dog receives proper medical care - specifically, a four-month supply of flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
These preventative medications are essential to keep the dogs healthy and adoption-ready, especially during this transitional period. With limited funds and no income stream, M&M relies entirely on volunteers and community support. Many of these dogs come from neglected or abandoned backgrounds and deserve to be protected from preventable diseases as they await placement in loving homes.
Fulfilling this GoFundMe would provide a critical bridge, allowing the rescue to continue quality care for the remaining dogs in their care. Ensuring their health means better chances at successful adoption and a reduced burden on adopters, many of whom are already generously opening their homes to pets in need.
Funds will be used exclusively to purchase flea/tick and heartworm prevention for the 16 remaining dogs who are still in search of their forever homes. Based on current needs, we anticipate a cost of approximately $80 per dog for a four-month supply.
With your support, we can ensure that the final chapter of M&M Rescue’s journey is written with the same compassion that has guided them from the beginning. These dogs have come so far—please help give them the healthiest, happiest start to the next phase of their lives.
Thank you in advance!
