Sweetheart Mitzi was rescued from Lancaster Animal Shelter in Los Angeles, CA in horrific condition. Besides being skin and bones, Mitzi has pneumonia, double ear infections and a whole body skin infection. She is currently on antibiotics, and doing daily nebulizer + steam baths. Mitzi saw our regular vet last Saturday and although the appointment went well, we still do not see an amazing improvement in Mitzi's overall condition.

It is hard for her to breathe properly (we can only imagine how uncomfortable that would be), and we REALLY need to ensure we are doing everything humanly possible to help Mitzi fully recover to the best of her ability. She deserves it SO much, especially after all she has been through. This forgotten, sweetheart of a Pitty was dumped at the shelter after clearly a lifetime of neglect and overbreeding.

We believe that Mitzi needs a more intense level of care and would like for her to see a specialist at Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) in Los Angeles for her respiratory infection.

This sweet angel deserves NOTHING more than the absolute best.
