My sweet baby Mittens has been diagnosed with advanced stage 4 kidney failure a few weeks ago. It very much came out of nowhere and her health has declined expeditiously.

Her blood levels are astronomically high, even the doctor was surprised that she has survived with these numbers. He made a rough estimate that we probably only have a few weeks, possibly a few months left together.

We now had to change up her diet and give her subcutaneous fluids daily at home along with frequent vet visits to make sure she is comfortable for the rest of her days.

The vet bills have been a huge factor as of why this journey has been more painful that it already is. She is my soulmate and I would do anything for her, I see she wants to keep fighting but she is definitely tired & confused on her routine change. This has been an extremely painful experience for me and my family. We are trying our best through this difficult process to make her quality of life the best it can be until it is her time.

Everyone that has met Mittens knows she is the sweetest and most loving cat of everyone she meets, she has left a mark on so many people and I hope she can stay in your memory for as long as you can remember.
