On Christmas, I experienced something I never imagined would happen to me. I was mugged and stabbed, and I woke up unconscious from a concussion after the attack. The robbers took my money and phone, and since then, I’ve been trying to recover both physically and emotionally. The aftermath has left me with unexpected expenses that I’m struggling to manage on my own.

Right now, I’m facing medical bills, the cost of groceries, and gas to get to appointments and take care of daily needs. As a resident who doesn’t qualify for Medicare or food stamps, it’s been especially tough to find the support I need. That’s why I’m reaching out to my community for help—every bit of encouragement and support means the world to me.
