Our dad, Mitch Taylor, has always been the one we turned to for help. With over 30 years in IT and cybersecurity, he was the person who could fix anything—computers, networks, and even the toughest problems life threw at us.
He’s spent his life supporting others, working long nights and showing unwavering loyalty to his job and his family. Mitch is always the first one to step up and help others. He is selflessly giving, with a deep caring heart, and he takes on burdens that no one ever sees—handling it all like a champ. That’s why it was so devastating when he was suddenly laid off without warning.
We saw the stress weigh on him in a way we’d never seen before. Even though he tried to hide it, we knew he was struggling. Not long after, his health took a turn for the worse. He started experiencing frightening symptoms, and when he finally went to the emergency room, we learned that one of his arteries was 96% blocked. The doctors told us that the stress from losing his job had made his condition deteriorate much faster.
Hearing that he needed an urgent heart procedure was one of the scariest moments of our lives. Thankfully, our dad survived the procedure, but the challenges didn’t end there. He’s now facing a mountain of medical bills and the financial strain of being out of work. He has been tirelessly applying to jobs for the past 6 months, going on interviews, but the worst part is not hearing anything from the blackhole of jobs applications, and they all lead to a dead end.
Our dad has always been the strong one, the provider, the fixer—but right now, he needs help, even if he’d never ask for it himself. We’re reaching out on his behalf because he deserves support as he recovers. Any donation, share, prayer, or kind word means more to us than we can express! Your support will help take some of the pressure off Mitch so he can focus on healing, instead of worrying himself sick again. Thank you for being there for our dad and our family during this difficult time. Now, it’s our turn to step up for him. We love you!
