Mitch is facing an unimaginable challenge — a recent diagnosis of stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer — all while preparing to welcome his first child with his wife, Bai Zhu, at the end of August. What should be one of the most joyful times of his life has suddenly become one filled with uncertainty, fear, and a tough medical journey.

Mitch began chemotherapy this last week and is now balancing the toll of treatment with the emotional and physical preparation of becoming a new father. Currently, he is scheduled to start traveling to Mayo Clinic as early as September. As anyone can imagine, this is not just a health battle — it’s a deeply personal one for Mitch and his growing family.

Mitch is known for his quiet strength, his loyalty, and his unwavering support for the people in his life. He’s a man who shows up for others — and now, he and his family need us to show up for them.
