Hi, I'm Mitchell Hunter Gibson II. I am a stuntman in training and chasing my dreams of becoming a precision driver. During my last training sessions I broke my L3 Vertebrae. I have had to restart learning how to do everything again. This includes and is not limited to walking, sitting up, climbing stairs, dressing myself, taking showers, and plenty more. Although I hate asking for help, there is a time and a place for everything, so here I am. I luckily will have my job when I am cleared to come back to work from my neuro/spine specialtist, but that could be 6 months or more. My insurance is now charging me for my surgery bills so I am focusing on my survival and paying off what I can. Due to me not being able to work at my supporting job in hvac currently, I have no cash flow to pay my medical bills, pay my regular monthly bills, nor have any extra money for food. My family cannot support me anymore at this time as it has their financials tapped too and that is the last thing I wanted. I am looking at food banks, disability, grants, and anything else that could aid me getting assistance at this time. My goal of has changed to ~$32,000 due to the massive amount of debt I have accrued over these past few months. The original bill was $404,000, so progress has been made! I will continue to fight to get this lower. This number will ideally help me pay for both my medical bills and day to day cost of living while I'm out of work. As of now, I am aiming to be back to work in about 2 months. $32,000 is by no means expected to be hit, but anything you can give is appreciated and will be utilized in helping make my recovery easier to complete and be as stress free as possible.
