Hello, my name is Shannon and I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my Uncle Mitchell Bowen.

In September, Mitchell was admitted to the hospital after being found severely ill from sepsis, strep throat, high blood pressure, and undiagnosed diabetes. While in the hospital, he unfortunately suffered a stroke. Once he was stable, his medical team ran a series of diagnostic tests and it was found that Mitchell has Prostate Cancer that has metastasized to his lower back and spine, requiring immediate Chemo and Radiation.

This GoFundMe has been created to help alleviate the financial stress so Mitchell can focus on what matters most - healing and recovery, as he currently does not have medical insurance and has not been able to work due to ongoing knee, back, and sight issues.
