Support Misty's Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer
My name is Misty, I'm 38, and on April 24th, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma Cancer. I went to the ER with what I thought was still the flu. My white blood cell count was high, and my red blood cell count was low. After a CT & PET scan, they found multiple swollen lymph nodes surrounding my wind pipe, in my throat, in-between my lungs, around my stomach, and around my spine. I also have the cancer in my bone marrow in my skull, entire pelvic bone, and most of my spine. I also have a mass in my stomach as well as liver. I have not been able to work as well as my husband, as he has to take care of me and my 9 and 12 year old girls. I am not expect to be done with treatment for at LEAST 6 months (12 chemo treatments once every 2 weeks) putting me into at least October, providing things go as planned. As hard as it is for me to ask, I am asking for donations to help me and my family. We are a family of 4 and the money will go towards bills, gas to and from chemo, car repair for travel, medical bills, medication, food, and lodging if needed. Any donation, no matter how big or small will help and be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading this and thank you for your support, it means the world to my family and I in this difficult time. -Misty & Family
