Meet Misty — She’s a devoted single mom to her beautiful 6-year-old daughter, a loving caregiver to her mother who is battling stage 4 breast cancer, and a small business owner.

Recently, Misty received devastating news: she has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Her doctors have recommended immediate, intensive treatment, including chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation over the next six to nine months.

This diagnosis is overwhelming on its own — but for Misty, the challenges go even deeper. As the sole provider for her daughter and caretaker for her mother, Misty now faces the task of trying to juggle life-saving cancer treatment while keeping her business afloat, caring for her family, and somehow covering the mounting expenses that come with all of it.

Misty is the kind of person who always shows up. She’s the one who brings meals when someone is sick, who offers a ride, a kind word, a helping hand — no matter how full her own plate is. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
