Support Misty Krueger During Cancer Treatment

Misty Krueger, our friend and longstanding ASECS community member, is facing the prospect of a second fight against cancer. Misty was diagnosed a few years ago with breast cancer, and recent scans indicate that the cancer has metastasized to the bone and liver. Treatment will begin as soon as possible.

In addition to being a respected scholar and teacher at University of Maine-Farmington, Misty has been a member of ASECS for many years and is the chair of the ASECS Women’s Caucus. In collaboration with other members of ASECS, Lauren Holt has created this GoFundMe to help offset healthcare costs, any uncovered prescription expenses, transportation to and from treatments, meals, living expenses should a leave from work be required, or any other unforeseen expenses arising as a result of their treatment. Misty is the sole beneficiary of all contributions.
