Many of you know John Scott was recently diagnosed with cancer, Hepatocellular Carcinoma. 

Shortly before Horsepower Fest, John's symptoms began. Not wanting to miss the last jet boat event of the season & cold beers with his closest friends, John pushed through the pain. John's cancer has metastasized to his lymphatic system, bones, and lungs, but that hasn't stopped him. John and Terry have given us all laughs, love, and unconditional friendship. It's time we give back. 

Terry was forced to take a leave from her job to care for John full time. Doctors appointments, treatments, home care, and by John's side is where Terry needs to be. John's treatments are costly, $18,000 a month. Terry is hoping her medical insurance will cover the majority of the cost, but knows a portion will come her way. There are, and will be continued adjustments around the home, we'd like to make, so John may be more comfortable at home.

It's time we, as a jet boat family, come together and help support John and Terry Scott. I'd love to say your donation will go to jet boat parts (we all know John needs a better scoop), but this is an even bigger project!! #cancersucks
