Title: Support Mistie Through a Difficult Time

Story:

In December 2024, Mistie and her family encountered a series of unexpected challenges. On Christmas Eve, her husband lost his job, and in February 2025, Mistie underwent two major stomach surgeries. She was initially reliant on a feeding tube, which was removed in April but had to be replaced in October due to complications.

In October 2025, she also had surgery to correct a twisted small intestine. However, the removal of the remaining portion of her stomach is still needed due to ongoing malnourishment and the need to gain weight.

As Mistie worked to recover and return to work, her husband continued to face employment difficulties, and the family experienced significant financial strain. Just when hope seemed on the horizon, Mistie faced another health setback in October, requiring additional surgery.

In addition to these medical challenges, their home was damaged by a rat that chewed through water pipes, causing extensive damage to five rooms. Unfortunately, insurance did not cover all the repair costs, adding more financial burden.
