Hi all my name is Alayna, I’m Tonis girlfriend and we are family to our loving cat Missy mamas. I’m raising this to ask for help towards this unfortunate medical journey with Missy. Toni is a dedicated full time worker but also such an animal lover. He has rescued 3 dogs & recently our babygirl Missy in January. Missy has been through alot of hardship in her past. When we found her outside Tonis house she wasn’t in the best condition with her jaw possibly being broken and also having an infection in her mouth. We were beyond blessed for the help we’ve received then and loved seeing her progress and be the happy adventurous cat she always is. Unfortunately Thursday 6/4/26 she seemed very low on energy not being the adventurous kitty she always is, she was throwing up and sleeping longer than usual. After monitoring her closely for a few days we noticed things weren’t getting better so we decided to take her into YolindaPlacentia Hospital where we were told she has a horrible immune system and that she unfortunately tested positive for Panleukoenia Virus. A virus that’s highly contagious and also a life threatening disease. We were told and recommended to put her down but we want to fight for her. Missy is about 1 year old and has so much life ahead of her and we have so much hope for her going through this. She’s so loving, caring, a goofball and she loves her cuddles. Today Monday 6/8/26 we are currently at another hospital in Fullerton to get a 2nd opinion and to have her hospitalized for as long as needed. She hasn’t been eating well, drinking water or staying hydrated so they will be monitoring her and giving her the help she needs at the moment. We will be updating on here as we all go along this journey. I appreciate those who took the time to read through this and help Missy be seen and heard.
