Hi everyone,

I’m writing this on behalf of our dear friend Missy, who is once again facing the fight of her life.

In 2020, Missy bravely battled ovarian cancer and worked incredibly hard to reclaim her health. Sadly, her cancer has returned, and this time the journey has been even more overwhelming. Missy has been out of work for the past month and a half, and her condition recently worsened, leading to hospitalization due to rising liver levels and dangerously low platelets.

Last week, doctors attempted a surgery to place a stent, but the procedure was unsuccessful and resulted in Missy being admitted to the ICU. We are now awaiting another surgery to place the necessary stents, followed by a long road of recovery and ongoing chemotherapy. During this time, Missy will be unable to work as she focuses on healing and fighting this disease once again.

Missy is one of the strongest, most selfless people I know. She has always shown up for others, and now she needs support more than ever. This GoFundMe is to help ease the financial burden of medical bills, everyday expenses, and lost income so she can focus on what truly matters—her health and recovery.
