In November, my mother-in-law, Missy McMaster, was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. The doctors are working to increase her iron levels before surgery in December; then she will begin chemotherapy. Missy has been continuing to work at our local Mission BBQ but will need to take time off to heal from surgery. Cancer is a stressful diagnosis, and our family wants to take care of Missy the best we can because she always takes such good care of us!
