On the 5th of September 2025, Christian, Missy's son, was involved in a terrible rollover car accident. In the week following, Christian has undergone surgery to remove the left side of his skull due to major brain bleeding. Additionally, during this time, he has stopped breathing more than once and has spent all this time in the ICU beginning his recovery.

You may know Missy as a local Colorado fashion designer for the last 25 years and owner of “Champlain Couture”, who has accomplished so much in her personal and professional life. She has participated in more that 100 fashion events in the Front Range and recently been recognized as the best “Mommy and Me” designer of the season at Denver Fashion week. She has always been a thoughtful person and designer in that she lives life from her heart and never asks or expects anything from anyone. It is now time for us to turn our hearts to her and support her as a community.

We are working to raise funds for Missy and her family, who are in need of assistance with medical bills from the accident and for day-to-day expenses. Any amount will help them cover his medical bills, keep food on the table and cover rent while going through this difficult time.
