Hello, my name is Frank, and I’m organizing this campaign to support Leo, who has received the opportunity to participate in a mission trip to the Philippines.

I know Leo personally and can vouch for his character, commitment, and genuine desire to serve the Lord and others. I met Leo over spring break when some University of Arkansas students and I went on a mission trip to Honduras. Leo is a local from Honduras, and we truly could not have completed the trip without him. He served as a translator, stepped into leadership roles, and showed a deep love for the Lord and for others.

During this upcoming trip, Leo will be involved in tribal evangelism and community service, sharing the message of the Gospel with people who, in many cases, have never heard it.

Here are some words from Leo:

“Hi, I’m Leo. Ever since Christ saved me in 2021, God has placed a constant desire in my heart to share the Gospel with others. Over time, this stopped being just a desire and became a need in my life—to tell others about Christ and reach those who don’t yet know Him.

I’ve had the opportunity to serve as a translator for several missionary groups, helping others share the message. But now, God has opened the door for me to take a step further and be the one who goes.

This opportunity came about while I was serving with a missionary group, where I met Frank. After seeing my passion for the Gospel and God’s work in my life, he told me about this trip and encouraged me to consider going. Even though I applied late, God opened doors through the mission organization, allowing me to be part of this team.

For me, this trip is much more than an experience. It is an opportunity to serve the Lord in a deeper way, step out of my comfort zone, and depend completely on Him. It is also an important step in discerning whether my calling is not only to local evangelism in Honduras, but also to missions.”

Fundraising Goal: $5,000

This amount covers the mission program, flights, travel insurance, and other necessary expenses.

As the organizer, I will receive the funds and personally transfer them to Leo using a secure method to ensure they are used for this trip.

The trip is approaching quickly, and we are working to raise these funds as soon as possible. Your support will directly help bring the Gospel to communities that may be hearing it for the first time.

Conozco a Leo personalmente y puedo dar fe de su carácter, compromiso y su genuino deseo de servir al Señor y a los demás. Conocí a Leo durante las vacaciones de primavera cuando algunos estudiantes de la Universidad de Arkansas y yo fuimos a un viaje misionero a Honduras. También es un paso importante para discernir si mi llamado es no solo al evangelismo local en Honduras, sino también a las misiones.”
