Dear Friends and Family,

I am reaching out to share with you the incredible opportunity that the Lord has provided for me this summer. I have volunteered to serve on a short-term mission team to southwest Alaska! The team is made up of members from my church that will be working in tandem with people currently working and serving at Tanalian Bible Camp in Alaska full time.

When: July 11-21, 2025

Where: Tanalian Bible Camp, Port Alsworth Alaska

Cost: $1420.00 per team member. This covers airfare, food, and materials.

Purpose: The main reason for this trip is to share the good news of Christ with 5th and 6th grade kids from all over Alaska. Many kids attending the camp come from rural indigenous villages in southwest Alaska with broken and abusive families and the camp is meant to be a week-long escape from all of the chaos and hardship that may be impacting their daily lives. It is often touted that the camp is likely the best week of the kids' whole year.

Prayer needs: 1) For God to open the hearts of the young Alaskan children that they may learn of His grace and salvation

2) Team unity, so that the team from my church can work together seamlessly alongside the team already at the camp

3) For me to be open and able to learn everything it is that the Lord wants to teach me
