For those of you who may not know, I'm going on my second mission trip to the Rio Grande Valley this summer in Texas to build homes for widows and orphans.

In August, through this mission trip, I'll be serving the local community by volunteering with my church team and helping the Buckner ministries serve vulnerable children and families with resources and support to protect children, strengthen families and transform generations.

We, as a team, get to help the children and their families by supporting them. We can also pour love into them and be God's hands and feet. These mission trips help put into perspective what we need to focus on. They also help spread the message of compassion globally.

I invite you to partner with me through both FUNDING and PRAYER. The cost of the trip is $1,200, and your donation will make my mission possible. Your money will not only help us get there but also fund the special projects we undertake while we're there.

The Bible says, "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature," in Mark 16:15. This trip has been heavy on my heart for a while, and this time, I choose not to sit back and watch other people do the work. I'm going to go and do my best to make a difference in children's lives.
