Miss Lisk has dedicated herself to helping youth in Garden City since 1993. Working for Kansas Rehabilitation Services from 1993-2001, Garden City Community College from 2001 to 2017, USD 457 from 2017 to current. Miss Lisk has helped a countless number of youth enriching and bettering their lives.

Now it’s our time to help Martha.

Martha has been battling a wound on her left foot since August of 2024 and has been treated by the podiatrist and wound care clinic in GC. This wound has resulted in three surgeries and partial amputation all since January 2025. She has developed a new wound in a different location. Due to the condition of her left foot from her partial amputation, Martha will require custom shoes that will cost over $1,500.

Miss Lisk is currently seeking a second opinion out of town leading to extensive travel. We are asking for assistance for both travel/medical expenses her Medicare and supplemental insurance will not cover. Due to all the travel Martha will be unable to work during the summer months.
