Support Miss Margie's Recovery and Expenses

My name is Michael. I am setting up this GoFundMe page to raise money for Miss Margie Fries, a lifelong resident of Big Bear and a senior citizen. Margie is 75 years old. On Tuesday, November 19th, On her way to work, Margie fell in her driveway and broke her hip, requiring hip surgery and a hip replacement. Margie has been hospitalized ever since and is now beginning to go through therapy, staying at Bear Valley Hospital.

Due to these unfortunate circumstances, Margie is not only going to be out of work for quite some time, but she also is going to sustain a lot of large medical bills. Margie is a senior citizen, and she lives alone. She lives on a tight budget which requires her to continue to work full-time for us here at the YMCA Camp Oakes at the age of 75. Outside of the extensive medical bills, Margie needs to pay her mortgage and all of her utilities, which are quite costly. Unfortunately, she's going to be out of work for the foreseeable future.

Let me tell you something about Miss Margie. She is so loved by so many. In fact, last year, she received the Spirit of the Y award at the YMCA of Greater Long Beach banquet, where she was the winner and honored after being nominated for her big heart and dedication to the children that come to our YMCA camp up here in Big Bear City.

Miss Margie is going to need a power lift recliner to help her get up each day as well as financial assistance to cover her basic everyday expenses and extensive medical bills.
