Update: An unfortunate update but Miss Kiki has been diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma that is inoperable due to the location on her spine. Chemo could be an option but it would be thousands and unfortunately that’s just not in the cards for us right now. Additionally, I hate thinking about putting her through radiation for it to not be successful or make her sicker. Instead, I’ve decided to give her the best life possible for the time she has left. Thank you to everyone who donated, it went towards the cost of the biopsy. I truly appreciate it.

Miss Kiki is a very special cat. The cat distribution system got me again and I’m very grateful it did. Kiki was a neighbors cat who was neglected and left outside with a multitude of issues/health problems. She was attacked by a dog and her upper mouth/teeth are missing due to this. She gets recurring infections and when I found her, her upper mouth was so swollen and so infected it was turning black. With some antibiotics and love and care she started feeling better very quickly! Unfortunately, I noticed a small bump on her back which at the time was not overly concerning as it could be a multitude of things. However, over the past 2 weeks it has suddenly gotten much larger. I took her to the vet again and it is more than likely a sarcoma (cancer). A biopsy is needed to know for sure. As someone who has multiple cats and has fostered a multitude of kitties, I can truly say Miss Kiki is a special cat. Anyone that meets her sees this right away as she is a very loving and sweet cat. Despite all she has been through in her life she is still so trusting of humans and animals alike, she just wants love. While I am doing my best to give her all the love and care in the world I know the treatment for this won’t be cheap. The first step is getting an official diagnosis and seeing what the treatment options are. If you have the means and would like to help me save my sweet angel cat we would so appreciate it ❤️
