Support Miss Dana's Recovery
Donation protected
Danalynn Fennell, affectionately called "Miss Dana" by countless families, needs your help - now more than ever. While she was out running errands on a Sunday afternoon on June 22, 2025, Miss Dana was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on the Blue Route that shut down the highway. Dana's car became trapped underneath a camper towed by a pick-up truck. Looking at the images from the crash scene, it is by the grace of God that she survived. She has a long road to recovery with head injuries including a fractured skull and lacerations to her face and scalp, according to her loving husband Ed ("Buddy").
Dana is a devoted wife and mother to four children (Christian, Brian, Larissa and Emily), and as many families know she is a true-blue, reliable, compassionate "Mom" to the many, many children who have been in her care at The Goddard School in Newtown Square. When parents are at work, she is the one who teaches your children how to count, how to name colors, how to use the potty, how to be kind to other kids, how to do "hard things." Miss Dana consoles her "children" when they are sad and praises them when they need a boost. She sings with them, dances with them and laughs with them. Miss Dana is the reason so many families come to Goddard - and stay there. She embodies the mission of Goddard and is the heart and soul of the school.
If there were ever a moment to rally around someone so well-loved in the community who has loved your children like her own - the time is now. ANY amount is appreciated - ANY. Please show Miss Dana how much we care! Thank you for all of your generosity.
