After 36 years of shaping young minds and pouring her heart into Effica Montessori Preschool, Miss Asha is preparing to close a beautiful chapter. This year marks her final year as owner and teacher—a time that should be filled with joy, reflection, and celebration. But instead of coasting into a well-deserved retirement, Miss Asha is now facing an unexpected and overwhelming challenge.

Her beloved husband, Sazro, recently suffered a heart attack and will be undergoing a triple bypass surgery this June. As many of you know, Sarzo and Asha are deeply connected, and this sudden medical emergency has added incredible emotional and financial stress to what should be a season of rest and joy.

Miss Asha is the most selfless, gentle soul you’ll ever meet. She has given her entire life to serving children and families, nurturing thousands of students with patience, wisdom, and love. To be taught by Miss Asha is to be known, cherished, and inspired—and her impact will live on through generations.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

When asked what she needed, after much hesitation and saying she didn’t want anything, Miss Asha finally said: “Maybe some birdseed.” If you know her, you’re smiling through the tears—because of course, that’s her. Always thinking of others. Always finding peace in the simple things.
