Support Miso's Recovery: Unexpected Vet Bills

Hi there, this is my 12 week old kitten Miso. She is the first kitty I’ve ever had and I love her so much. She beings so much joy to our lives. Yesterday on January 15th she started showing signs of distress. She was refusing to eat and drink, very lethargic and having shivers and heavy breathing. We decided to take her to the ER vet. She had a fever of 104. With the exam fee and some testing for parvo, thankfully she came back negative for that but they wanted to keep her over night for more testing/ bloodwork which would have been $2000. Having unexpected pet emergencies are expensive and can be costly. We unfortunately had to decline the procedures/testing and choose option B which was still costly and out of pocket for us. They gave her some anti-nausea treatment and sent us home with some antibiotics to give to her orally every 12 hrs for 10 days. She slept for 16 hrs straight. This morning she was able to follow me to the kitchen to get her food for breakfast and seemed to have more energy and was able to eat some food and drink a little water. Im not sure what else to do because we simply can’t afford any other testing. We love her so much and just want her to be her quirky happy little self again.
