My cat Mishu is my family. She’s been with me through some of the hardest moments of my life — and now she needs me. Right now she’s sick with what may be a serious infection. She has white discharge and has stopped eating normally, which are signs of a potentially life-threatening condition. She needs to be seen by a vet immediately and may need emergency surgery and antibiotics. Without treatment, she could die.

I hate having to ask for help, but I truly can’t do this alone. I’m doing everything I can to get her seen, but the costs for emergency care are far beyond what I can afford right now. Anything you can give — even $5 — will go directly toward her vet visit, tests, medication, and surgery if needed.

If you’ve ever loved an animal, you know they aren’t “just pets.” She’s my home, my comfort, and my reason to keep going. I’m not ready to lose her.
