As many of you know, Lana's husband (Michael/Misha) was recently diagnosed with myeloma. After weeks of Misha not feeling well, slight speech delay, some motor function difficulties- they were able to get a brain MRI.

It showed a massive tumor and was sent straight to the ER for admission by Neurosurgery. The mass taken out right away the following day. We were hopeful that it would be benign but neurosurgery unfortunately did not think that from the looks of the tumor. Oncology was consulted.

The thought is that is most likely myeloma. Until we do a PET scan and bone marrow biopsy- we won't know the type of myeloma.

As you can imagine, this little family's world just got turned upside down with the worst nightmare possible. Misha will not be able to work. Needs 24 hour supervision due to seizures (Lana will be on an LFMA), will need chemo/radiation, and all the help we can all provide. Emotionally- Financially- Spiritually. Those two sweet little boys (7 and 11 years old) have no clue how grave this will get.

Thankfully he has the best nurse as his wife- Lana; but she will need a lot of support too. Misha's parent's are here and very supportive; a long with his sweet sister.

Next step is his PET scan on July 14.
