Support Misama through his sister Amina's Passing

Hi, my name is Keimi, and I am fundraising on behalf of Misama Litto. Misama is an important member of my chosen family-- I have known him since he was 4 years old-- and a wonderful member of his communities.

On June 3 2024, his older sister Amina passed away after a long period of acute and chronic illness. Amina is a wonderful and gentle soul who will be greatly missed by those she knew. Misama is a young man who is supportive, generous, and a joyful presence in his community.

Misama and Amina had been living together, with Misama providing a large amount of her essential care. Since Amina's earthside departure, we are hoping to support Mis through the next phases of life that come with grief and loss. Some of the things we are hoping to support Mis with are:

Cleaning their home and sorting through medical supplies
Medical bills still due
Rent and/or housing transition
Funds to take time away from work (to cover groceries and other essential bills through lost income)
A flight home to Tanzania to grieve with their parents, who are unable to visit Canada ($3 000+ CAD)
Support for any legal or administrative expenses that come with end of life responsibilities
