Our beloved stylist, Mirtha, who has dedicated 29 years to making Barbara Katz a vibrant and welcoming space, is facing a challenging time in her life. While on vacation in Jamaica, Mirtha experienced a tragic accident that has left her in need of extensive medical care and support.

While in Jamaica with many cliffs and rocky waters, a momentary misstep caused the ground beneath Mirtha to give way. In an instant, she found herself slipping into the unforgiving rocky waters. The outcome has been a series of injuries that require surgery, followed by months of recovery and intensive physical therapy.

Mirtha's resilience and strength are inspiring, and we are confident that she will overcome this adversity. However, the road to recovery is not an easy one, and the burden of medical bills looms large. This is where we, as a community, can make a meaningful impact.
