Hello! My given name is Mirirai Paidamoyo Sithole and 11 years ago to the day (10/4/2012) I became a naturalized citizen of The United (?) States of America. My ceremony was at Faneuil Hall in Boston, Massachusetts (MA$$hole4Lyfe). To name a few: were it not for the choices, innovations, faith, sacrifices, love, leadership, challenges, trust, community building, resourcefulness, and marriage / committed partnership of my pairents - Fortune & Miriam - neither my name or the privilege of citizenship would be actualized.
In celebration & humility - and with gentle encouragement from my friend Chetna - I am asking for your support in helping me reroot&stabilize in New York City after three years of exploring, adventuring, teacher training in yoga & Usui Reiki, consulting a plethora of theaters towards holistic futures, and rising in love with others and mySelf. I would also appreciate your support as I continue my education and pursue the path of advanced institutional degrees and immerse mySelf in rooms with leaders from all walks and talks of life.
In others words, while I wait for Kalifornia Unemployment Insurance to come through and SAG-Aftra (Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television & Radio Artists #UnionStrong) to authorize us to work upon ratifying fair, equitable & remunerative contracts with the AMPTP, I am on strike and I need help. Please help as you are able.

2. I was accepted into the 4-week Healing Justice series with EarthBloom Consulting facilitated by Tracey Allard. I am honored to be in the inaugural class of this series for Black, African-American, Afro Latinx, and African womxn.
3. After initially being shortlisted for The Daily Coach Network ’s Rising Stars community, I self-advocated & have now been welcomed into the inaugural class of top coaches primarily in the Sports & Wellness sectors. The Daily Coach Network “…is all about learning together…”. [I] look forward to learning alongside C-Suite execs & reconnecting to my athletics & dance roots. Thank you for listening Ryan Lessard.

4. I am in the 10 week leadership immersive created by my associates and friends at Inheritance Project on scholarship (a $1980 value). As I am in the process of re-Matriating mySelf and taking initiative to learn more about my birth country, this course-work is deeply necessary for the integration of my Zimbabwean-American body. Value: ♾️
5. I am one of many beautiful beings in residence at Kripalu Center for Health & Yoga as a part of their Regenerative Community. As The Story Doula says, “Regenerative business is death work. It's rupture and repair work. It's nervous system healing work. It's consciousness expanding work. It's radical culture-listening work.” And so it is. Value: ♾️
6. Last but deeply not least, I will be returning to the theatrical stage very soon and my Producing Partner and friend (Tim Hackney ) alongside our loved ones and colleagues are well on our way to co-building the wHolistic, imaginative, heart centered theatre we want to be a part of after witnessing and experiencing so much of what we didn’t want to be a part of. A sneak peak into my Masters & Doctorate track:
My intention is to create a Faith & Research based Pedagogy for the Sustenance and Continuation of the Performing Arts Industry. This perpetually unfolding thesis will culminate in textbooks for all learning styles. These tools of learning will include examples of researched, studied, and attempted practices and training ma’aterials for actors, dancers, and singers of all genders. In terms of Cultural Entrepreneurship, I will be examining the potent link between trusted leaders and their chosen textiles, attire, and/or The Habit of Bana. From the iconic Steve Jobs’ black turtleneck and jeans to Beyoncé Giselle Knowles Carter’s sonic and fashion imprint as one of the Queens of the Piscean age; these leadership “styles” and options for co-leadership models will be presented as foundational necessities to reMatriate & re-Habilitate the Performing Arts Industry from lifetimes of patriarchal and systemic harm. This will be written by a well-traveled (locally, globally, inter-dimensionally) Black Zimbabwean-American Humxyn Wombman. A purpose: sustained inner peace while immersed in the creation of art and life with reverence to the body (a malleable form and vessel) adjusting, strengthening, weakening, failing, and reviving/resurrecting itSelf from infinite iterations of conscious & subconscious harm and abuse. My interdisciplinary PhD will blend Arts, Culture & Entrepreneurship with Yogic Philosophy & Neuroscience as the foundation for Regenerative Wellness being a secure and mandatory line item in Production Budgets across all mediums of the Performing Arts. - 30 credits with a 3.0 passing GPA at Northeastern University is required to complete an online Masters of Science in Arts Administration & Cultural Entrepreneurship. This will cost $51,540 before scholarships & grants & potential work-study placement. I am focusing on applying for acceptance into the January 2024 class.

Mirirai is an individual and ensemble award-winning Actor as well as the Founding Mother & Kriy8ive Director of the Consulting, Advocacy, and Producing company Aye Defy. She is a Writer, Global Diplomat and Intuitive Healer. To date, she has primarily worked in the Performing Arts Industry as an actor developing new plays (Classic Stage Company, MCC, Atlantic Theatre Company, Playwrights Horizons, New York Stage and Film, Signature Theatre Company, Bushwick Starr etc.) and her select TeleVision credits include (Broad City, Russian Doll and Black Mirror: Smithereens). She is here on Earth to practice and injoy love in all forms and maintain physical, mental & spiritual stamina via the organic technology of Kundalini Raj Yoga. Mirirai identifies as a perpetually integrating Opti-Mystic. She was raised Christian and loves God; her heart is most at peace and open to the study and innerstanding of Omnism .
