Hello everyone, As many of you know, my mother, Miriam Valdez, passed away on October 21, 2025, after a long and difficult battle with serious health conditions over the past four years following a hemorrhagic stroke. As her only child, it has been incredibly hard to navigate this loss while also taking on the sole responsibility of organizing her funeral arrangements. It was my mother’s wish to be laid to rest in El Salvador, her home country, and honoring that wish has come with significant costs, especially the expenses related to transporting her back home. I’ve created this GoFundMe to help cover those transportation costs, which are the most expensive part of the process. Once she arrives in El Salvador, my family and I will take care of the remaining arrangements.
