Support Miriam through Tough Times
Donation protected
Miriam’s life was turned upside down this past summer when her brother, who suffers from bi polar & schizophrenia, attacked Miriam & their parents with a knife. Miriam tried desperately to stop her brother, but sadly her dad was killed & herself & mom were seriously injured. Miriam suffered life threatening injuries & was in ICU for over 2 weeks & underwent over a dozen surgeries to regain use of her hands. Now Miriam & her mom are trying desperately to rebuild their lives but Miriam still does not have full use of her hands & can not drive.
Please join us to help support sweet Miriam & her mom. Miriam worked for us at our store in the Grove many years ago & was the sweetest, most hard working girl, she was only 16 then & she’s continued to work her way into a better life until this tragedy hit. It’s so heartbreaking & we just wish for Miriam & her mom to get back on their feet, but without being able to work, or drive & still more surgeries & lots of physical therapy, they need help.
This is such a horrible, sad situation that I would not wish on anyone, and it just heartbreaking to see Miriam & her mom struggling for the most basic things now...they lost their apartment and had 5 minutes to collect their belongings because it was a crime scene. It's just too much to imagine anyone having to go through.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
xoxo
