My friend Mira was hit by a car while driving her scooting to work. She sustained severe serious injuries and needed emergency surgery. She is still in the hospital and will be out of work for several months. Mira teaches toddlers at a local daycare. Her sister Tianna lives with her and is also a teacher at a nearby daycare. Needless to say that, being teachers, they do not have a lot of money to begin with. I am hoping to raise money to help them pay for basic things like food, rent and utilities, plus whatever medical bills are not covered by insurance.
