Dear Friends and Family,

I’m very excited to share that I will be moving to London in September to pursue a Master’s degree in Vocal Studies at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama! Attending this school is a dream come true; I’m following in the footsteps of the many incredible musicians who have studied there and I know I will grow exponentially as both an artist and a person through their highly personalized program.

As you can imagine, moving to London is a HUGE leap. If you’d like to support the next steps of my artistic journey, I am seeking assistance for immediate expenses such as moving costs, visa fees, and establishing housing. I’m honored to have received a partial scholarship from Guildhall, and I will personally be covering approximately one third of my tuition, in addition to living costs.

To that end, I’ve set a fundraising goal of $15,000. Contributions of any amount would mean the world to me and are deeply appreciated. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

This institution holds a special place in my heart as my father also received his Master’s degree at Guildhall. Growing up hearing stories about London and his time there, I’ve long been inspired by the English music tradition and cannot wait to live in this city with such a rich musical history and culture. As many of you know, I moved back to Minnesota after graduating from UW-Madison in 2020. Since then, I have been incredibly fulfilled working at both the Schubert Club and the Minnesota Orchestra (and I will be singing both of their praises while I am across the pond!) while continuing to perform. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with the Minnesota Opera, Opera Reading Project, and many other wonderful musical organizations and colleagues here in the Twin Cities. While I’ve truly enjoyed working full-time, I am now ready and excited to shift my focus fully toward my singing career. It feels so bittersweet to leave the place I’ve called home for the last 27 years, but I couldn’t be more thrilled to start this new chapter.
