Thečhíȟila collective and other organizers in Detroit are starting a fundraiser for Miranda Laber, an indigenous woman (Blackfeet/Confederated Salish, Kootenai, Pend'Oreille) recovering from getting shot in a domestic violence incident and is starting school in Montana this summer. She will need financial assistance to get a reliable car that can make the trip to Montana along with her dog Guapi, gas, and lodging for the trip, as well as a fund for school and a general emergency fund.
