This go fund me is on behalf of Miranda Wright. She is a friend who I met while we worked at the public library together and a wonderful person. Miranda is doing everything she can to hold her life and family together. She is a single mother of two, works three jobs, and is also managing the challenges and expenses that come with chronic autoimmune illness.

Despite working hard to support herself and her family, the combined weight of housing costs, healthcare expenses, and other financial pressures has left Miranda facing an immediate housing crisis. She is now at risk of becoming homeless.

Right now, Miranda is doing everything she can to find stable housing while preparing for the possibility that she may need somewhere temporary to stay. The uncertainty of losing her home affects every part of her life—from managing her health and maintaining the demands of three jobs to preserving stability and normalcy for her family.

This is where we are hoping her community can help.

Funds raised will go directly toward helping Miranda remain housed or regain stable housing as quickly as possible. Depending on what housing becomes available, donations may help with:

Funds available before then could make an enormous difference in the options Miranda has. If enough cannot be raised by that date, the support will still help her secure a new home as quickly as possible and cover the costs of staying somewhere safe during the transition.

The goal is to give Miranda enough stability and breathing room to get through this immediate crisis and into secure housing. Having a safe place to live will make it possible for her to focus her energy on maintaining her work, managing her health, caring for her family and pets, and rebuilding from a much more stable foundation. Most importantly, stable housing will help provide the consistency and stability her family needs while their family moves through this difficult transition.
