Financial support for our loving friend, Miranda!

Hello friends of Miranda!

As you probably know, our dear, loving, generous, wonderful friend just ran a campaign of a lifetime! A long time union organizer and activist, Miranda has been tirelessly dedicating her time and resources to improving her local union -- for years. Last year she committed to running for Leadership of IATSE Local 800.

Running a campaign takes resources and energy. Miranda put all her energy and effort into running in order to support and protect the people and artists she loves, the members of the Art Directors Guild, and nearly swung a win in her favor, and for a bright, progressive future for the union's members this March.

Alas, with only a few votes short, the job went to someone else. And now Miranda is on the look-out for good paying jobs, to keep herself afloat.

In the meantime, our girl needs some sound buffering *right now* to navigate the job market while keeping herself fed, healthy and housed.

Due to downturn in entertainment work, she has lost her health insurance. She is now having to pay for health insurance and medicine, for her and her child, in order to manage her difficult health condition.

This is where us, her community comes in! We're hoping to raise enough funds to set Miranda up, comfortably, for the next two months of this year.

The more of us that can step up and give a little during these difficult times, the more easeful it can be on everyone.
