2 Strokes, Coma, Miracle at Donor Services—David Needs Help
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Leslie, and I’m David’s wife.
In August of 2024, David had two strokes, one was ischemic, and the second was a devastating hemorrhagic stroke that left him in a coma. He had to have emergency brain surgery, and doctors told me he was brain-dead. He was taken to donor services, where they were preparing to harvest his organs. But just hours before they were going to take him off life support...David woke up. It was nothing short of a miracle! Since then, our lives have completely changed. David had to relearn everything—how to talk, how to swallow, how to move. He still can’t walk on his own. He’s in outpatient rehab now, and I’m his full-time caregiver. We’re facing overwhelming medical bills, therapy costs, and travel expenses. We’re still waiting on disability, and I’ve had to stop working. This is the hardest thing we’ve ever faced. And we’re asking—if you feel led—please help. Every dollar, every share, every prayer means the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
for listening, and for helping David continue his fight.
