Miracle was involved in a lawn mower accident on 5/8/2024. Luckily, his parents Megan and Mat Scharff were able to quickly get him to Minneapolis to see a surgeon and work to save his fingers. With helicopters not being able to fly due to severe weather, they had to hire a private jet to get the three of them up to Shriners Children Hospital.
